Originally, the announcement came in October that Apple TV+ had purchased the rights to the Peanuts catalog. Fans were outraged (perhaps, because we love to be outraged) that their holiday shows would no longer be available to watch on ABC.
Over 260,000 people signed a petition. And now, the Peanuts Thanksgiving & Christmas specials will be returning... now airing on PBS!
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will air commercial free on PBS - Sunday, November 22nd at 7:30.
The special is also available to stream anytime, November 25-27th on Apple TV with a subscription, if you've got it.
A Charlie Brown Christmas will air on PBS - Sunday, December 13th - OR - stream for free from December 11-13 on the Apple TV app.
