Miami Beach Commissioners Vote To Temporarily Rollback Alcohol Sales Hours

Closing time coming earlier in South Beach. Miami Beach Commissioners voting 4-to-3 to rollback hours of alcohol sales in the entertainment district from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. for a pilot period beginning May 22nd and ending December 8th. Mayor Dan Gelber says they have to rebrand South Beach, because it's now known as a rowdy dangerous spot. Commissioners also voted to allow voters to have the last say. They approved creating a voter referendum for the November ballot to make the 2 am rollback permanent.
