KISS formed in 1973 and played their last show on December 2, 2023. The band is actually set to perform in November; however, without their iconic makeup. Part of the reason why Kiss isn't performing in makeup anymore could be because Pophouse Entertainment acquired the band's music catalog and rights to branding in a $300 million deal last year, which includes makeup designs. The company is set to launch Kiss avatar shows in 2027.
