Slash announced the death of a beloved family member on Sunday (July 21) night, asking for privacy and limited speculation. The Guns N' Roses guitarist shared news of his 25-year-old stepdaughter's passing in a message that mentioned her loved ones, and praised her talents and charm.

Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024. Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul."

The heartbreaking announcement concluded with the family asking for privacy and that "social media speculation be kept at a minimum" as they grieve the tragic loss of their loved one.
