Bob Dylan's iconic album cover star, Sally Grossman, has passed away at the age of 81, according to Rolling Stone. In 965, Grossman appeared on the cover of Dylan's Bringing It All Back Home LP. She memorably posed alongside Dylan in a chic red dress and holding a cigarette.
Before appearing on the cover of Bringing It All Back Home, Grossman was not a famous face. She landed the gig as she was the wife of Dylan's former manager Albert Grossman. In addition to working with Dylan, Grossman and her husband also collaborated with other rock icons like Janis Joplin, The Band and more.
Following her husband's death in 1986, Grossman continued to oversee his studio Bearsville, as well as his record label Bearsville Records. Grossman’s niece Anna Buehler confirmed the news of her aunt's passing on Monday (March 15). Grossman passed away in her sleep at home in Woodstock, New York last week.
