Jamie Foxx Slams Kanye West's Bid For Presidency

Kanye West and Jamie Foxx have a history of collaborations, but that doesn't mean that the latter supports the rapper's bid for presidency.

It all started when former NBA star Stephen Jackson reposted a tweet from DJ Hed on Monday (July 6) warning Americans of the dangers of electing celebrities who've never held office. "If you wouldn’t hire a plumber to work on the electrical wiring in your house why would you vote this way?" Hed asked in the message. "America’s obsession with fame / celebrity is the endgame." Jackson added his own take to the post, reminding his followers of West's close affiliation to President Trump. "Kanye Trump," he wrote, adding "#ivehadenough of the clown sh*t." That's where Foxx chimed in on the matter, agreeing with the sentiments in the comment section. "Gottdamn right!!!" the actor replied. "Ain’t got time for the bullsh*t!!!"

As you know, West made his bid (yet again) for POTUS on Independence Day. "We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future," the rapper told fans on Saturday night. After his revelation went viral, several celebrities came forward to react to the news, including wife Kim Kardashian, Tesla honcho Elon Musk, Ty Dolla $ign, Tiffany Haddish and even Paris Hilton.

As for how how Kardashian feels about 'Ye's political aspirations, it seems like she's intent on sticking by her husband. "Kanye has been planning this for years and Kim has known about his aspirations and has been supportive," an insider exclusively told US Weekly. "Kanye is passionate about arts and education and wants to support in any way he can."
