Is rock, paper, scissors a game of chance, or skill? A Canadian court ruled that it's a game of chance and let a man out of a more than half-million-dollar bet on the outcome of a best-of-three series. Edmund Hopper had taken out a mortgage on his home to pay the bet he lost.
Here’s good news -- the NBA will begin allowing teams to open their practice facilities to players on Friday, May 1st, but only in cities and states where the governments have eased their stay-at-home orders. We’ll see how this goes – and, we’ll see how this affects the decisions of other sports leagues.
Millions of gallons of beer that’s currently stuck in stadiums, concert halls, restaurants and bars are going stale. And, the timing couldn’t have been worse because the coronavirus hit just before two of the country’s biggest drinking occasions -- St Patrick’s Day and March Madness. So now, beer companies are trying to get their kegs back so they can be refilled before lockdowns lift.
