In anticipation of the launch of NBC’s new streaming service, 'Peacock', several teasers are now available. In addition to the much awaited reboot of Saved By The Bell, they've announced Soleil Moon Frye is back to reprise her role as the 80's icon Punky Brewster, now an adult with three kids of her own. Freddie Prinze Jr. stars are her husband.
While the streaming launch of Peacock is expected in July, no word yet when these two shows will debut. According to CNET: "Peacock will still have a big vault of existing shows and movies to stream there, including The Office, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock and Law & Order, not to mention tons of movies from its Universal and Dreamworks Animation studios. But it will have only a "handful" of originals available when it finally launches. The sci-fi drama Brave New World is essentially done, the company said, and its Psych 2 movie is in good shape. Saved By The Bell and Punky brewster are on track for a 2020 release."
