- A growing number of NFL teams are allowing fans to defer their season ticket payments. Even though the league is trying to stay on schedule with the draft in three weeks and games in fall, teams are offering future dates for ticket payments, allowing fans not to lose those tickets – while being able to hold onto the extra cash for now.
