The Rundown: Playdoh, Pirates, and the Oympics

Your Rundown in Frank's Garage on Z105: Tuesday March 24th, 2020.

  1. With more kids staying at home, puzzles and toys are pretty popular these days. Hasbro says consumers have been buying more Play-doh and Nerf products as well as family oriented games since more people are encouraged to stay home during the coronavirus pandemic.
  2. Home is where the heart is. While the Pirates may not be in Pittsburgh, they're still thinking about all the workers affected by the coronavirus. On Monday, the players arranged to have 400 pizzas and pasta delivered to the staff of Allegheny General hospital. Pitcher Jameson Taillon told MLB.com the team will continue to look for ways to support local businesses and first responders.
  3. It looks like the 2020 Summer Olympics will be postponed. The Games were supposed to start on July 24th -- but an Olympic Committee member announced that the start date will be pushed forward. Sadly, it's looking like we won't see the Olympics until 2021.
