The Rundown: Biden Wins, Testing Suspended, Keurig Draught Beer

Your Rundown in Frank's Garage on Z105: Wednesday March 18th, 2020.

  1. Joe Biden has won the Arizona, Florida and Illinois primaries on Tuesday, bringing him one step closer to the Democratic nomination for president – and pushing him past 1,000 delegates, closer to the 1,991 needed to lock up the nomination at the convention this summer.
  2. Governor Ron DeSantis announced yesterday that all testing requirements for K-through-12 students are canceled for the school year. He also announced school campuses will be closed through at least April 15th, and schools will be given more flexibility to start distance learning programs.
  3. People love their Keurigs because of the convenience. Now, Drinkworks, has announced its first beer pilot program to deliver a Keurig of beer. It’s partnered with the Los Angeles-based Golden Road Brewing, a brewery owned by Anheuser Busch, to create pods that allow you to pump out a beer at the push of a button. Each pod will let you pour a 14-ounce draught with your choice of four different wheat beers in a four-pack. The rollout will start in California initially, and if it goes well, we could be social distancing with a new kind of cold one in our hands.
