Recently many of us were introduced to a band called The Bird and the Bee. I turned on James Corden to see none other than Dave Grohl backing the LA duo on drums, covering a Van Halen song. The result was positively odd and wonderful.
Singer Inara George — the "bird" of the band — grew up in Los Angeles, as did "the bee," producer/musician Greg Kurstin (also known for producing Kelly Clarkson, Pink, and many more). Their first release was titled Interpreting the Masters Volume 1, a tribute to Hall and Oates!
