We all live such different experiences without realizing it.
An Ellenton man named Howard Fisher turns 93 years old this month and decided he should visit a beach for the first time in his life. Howard called his daughter Sandra in Alabama saying, "Sandra, isn't it ironic? I have lived here 20 years and never once went in the ocean....now I think I might like to but I can't" . His daughter made the trip from Alabama to make it happen. Recently they visited Anna Maria Island and used a handicap wheelchair to traverse the beach so Howard could take his first dip in the Gulf. "Look, I float just like a cork," he said. "Isn't this great? Look at that sky and those clouds".
