There's many bands posting material they've recorded in isolation. The one I'm most impressed by, is Sammy Hagar and the Circle. These guys have been blasting out cover songs each week and they are fantastic!
Lockdown Sessions started when drummer Jason Bonham challenged the band to a jam session, and part by part they've recorded these remotely. The Circle's lineup rivals any band Sammy has fronted, his voice still sounds strong, and I sincerely hope they get out on tour so we can see them live.
