12-Year-Old Kid Rocks Fall Out Boy's 'Centuries' On The Drums

It looks like Andy Hurley has some stiff competition.

While auditioning for America's Got Talent a talented 12-year-old boy named Jacob Velazquez surprised the judges with his multi-instrument skills.

Velazquez started his performance with an original song on piano and if that wasn't impressive enough, he then got behind the drum kit to play Fall Out Boy's 2014 smash hit “Centuries” and completely nails it!

The judges were more than impressed with his skills — including some perfectly timed drumstick flips — and gave him a standing ovation. You can even see Sofía Vergara's jaw drop throughout the whole performance.

The Pembroke Pines, Florida native spoke candidly about his PDD-NOS, which he said is similar to Asperger's Syndrome and how he's defied the disability. “I've had a lot of therapy throughout my life and a lot of struggles throughout my life and I want to show America with hard work I've overcome and risen above these struggles and that they can too,” he said right before his performance.

Following his AGT episode, Velazquez uploaded his full “Centuries” performance to YouTube and it's incredibly impressive. He's also covered twenty one pilots, Foo Fighters, Billie Eilish, and Linkin Park.

Hopefully, Fall Out Boy will invite Velazquez to a show during the rescheduled Hella Mega Tour dates next year.

The future of rock music is bright seeing as Velazquez isn't the only talented young kid out there playing instruments. Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello recently surprised a 10-year-old girl with his signature guitar after her guitar and drum videos went viral.
