Chris Cornell's widow Vicky, and the Cornell estate has released the late Soundgarden singer's previously unheard cover of the Guns N' Roses ballad "Patience" on what would have been his 56th birthday. The song was recorded in 2016 after Cornell taught his daughter Toni how to play it on acoustic guitar, during the time when GNR announced their reunion. The amped up acoustic version also features a big synth accompaniment do dress Cornell's tender vocals. Frankly, I love it.
